member of the noble family of Manfredi, overthrown by Cesare Borgia during his conquest of Romagna, she was married to a Spaniard, a fencing instructor of noble origins named Alvaro Molina.
they married when she was seventeen in Spain, and even though it was soon clear her body wasn't able to give birth to a baby, he din't reject her: instead, they moved together to Eugenia's hometown, Faenza, where he settled a fencing school.
when Borgia's army attacked the city, Alvaro was so ashamed to see someone from his own nation hurting the people that welcomed him so warmly that he threw himself into the battle, dying in the vain attempt to protect the city.
Eugenia was made escape before the enemy army stormed inside the city, but before fleeing she was able to retrive his husband's sword from the mountain of corpses left just outside the walls.
Eugenia went to Roma seeking revenge for her dear husband's death and just a week after her arrival she was rescued by Ezio when she was about to be killed, surrended by Borgia guards after slaying three of them with her sword.

she is a generous, resolute and determinate person, with a deep love for people and (nearly) always kind with those around her: she is willing to help and to listen, as she is very patient, nearly motherly.
she is strong at fencing because she's been training with her husband since she was a girl, but have some big issues with heights.
her comrades call her Madonna, referring both to her noble origings and to her resemblance to the Virgin Mary.
she made the vow of chastity in exchange for having the strenght to pursue her vendetta.

she is tall for being a woman, around 1.67, with brown eyes and long and straight blond hair.
her favourite colour is light blue, and she always wears a pendant under her clothes, a gift from her late husband, and her wedding ring under the left glove.
