Steve: How so?
Tony: Because, if he fails at redeeming himself as Clint's Big Brother, there will be no place on Earth, Heaven, Hell, or even an Alternative Universe that will prove out of reach for Natasha, Agent Coulson, and/or Dr. Banner.
Steve: What should we do then?
Tony: Nothing, absolutely nothing. Those three will spell it out for him, while you and I will make sure he continues only wanting the best for Clint.
Steve: Sounds fair.
Tony: More than fair.
If I recall the Ultimates Universe, aren't the characters in there a bit
(or even drastically) different from their main storyline counterparts?
Also, didn't he know Natasha before any of the other Avengers? And if this movie is about the team first forming/getting together, wouldn't he initially stick to Natasha and then work his way around interacting with the others?
As for him missing in the scenes..maybe they sent him on ahead so he can get the best view for his weapon?
